Now you can see more accurate Time of Canada PR Programs (Express Entry, PNP) and Canada Tourist/ Visitor visas, Canada Study permit, and Canada Family sponsor program As Of April 6, 2023.

Now IRCC will update Canada PR visa processing time on a weekly basis, based on data from the past 180 days. These updates include

  1. More realistic and up-to-date processing time information and
  2. Volumes of applications being processed and

Canada Express Entry Processing time:

As of April 2023,

the current estimated processing time for an Express Entry Canada application is around 20- 27 months or less. However, this processing time can vary based on factors such as the completeness of your application, the number of applications being processed, and the time it takes to complete any necessary background checks, security screenings, and medical exams.

Canada PNP Processing time:

The processing time for a Canada Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) application varies depending on the province or territory in which you apply. The processing times can range from a few months to a year or more, depending on various factors such as the type of application, the number of applications received, the completeness of your application, the time it takes for you to provide additional information or documents, and the security and medical screening process.

As of April 2023, the current estimated processing time for a Canada PNP application is as follows:

  1. Alberta: 6 months or less
  2. British Columbia: 2-3 months for the Skills Immigration stream and 4-6 months for the Entrepreneur Immigration stream
  3. Manitoba: 3-6 months
  4. New Brunswick: 3-6 months
  5. Newfoundland and Labrador: 3-5 months
  6. Northwest Territories: 2-3 months
  7. Nova Scotia: 3-6 months
  8. Ontario: 6-9 months
  9. Prince Edward Island: 3-5 months
  10. Quebec: approximately 6 months
  11. Saskatchewan: 3-6 months
  12. Yukon: 3-4 months

Canada Family sponsor program:

As of April 2023, the current estimated processing time for a Canada Family Sponsorship program application is as follows:

  1. Spouses, partners, and dependent children: 8-14 months
  2. Parents and grandparents: 24-48 months

The applicant will able to note updates on Canada TR visas ( Visitor, work & Study) application processing time on a weekly basis,  based on data from the past 2 - 4 months.

Canada Visitor / Tourist visa Processing time:

The processing time for a Canadian visitor/tourist visa can vary depending on a number of factors, including the applicant's country of origin, the completeness of their application, and the volume of applications being processed at the time.

As of April 2023, the standard processing time for a Canadian visitor visa was estimated to be around 19-30 calendar days for online applications and 33 calendar days for paper applications submitted at a visa application center.

However, these processing times are not guaranteed and may be longer or shorter depending on the specific circumstances of the application.
