Danish government is providing flexibility in their rules to the foreign skilled nationals to work in different field, outside of their primary employment. A foreign skilled candidate can take a secondary job on the basis of the same professional area. Earlier, foreign academics were prohibited to teach outside their primary institute of employment.

The government is now updating on the new rules as compared to the old one where, it was necessary to apply for each employment which has become inflexible and outdated.

The candidate applying for the secondary job has to work up to 156 hours per quarter, or 12 hours per week. The new rules are presented in the parliament and the result is expected to be out soon.

Now, we can only wait and watch, what these Dutch officials will bring it on the table.
