Australia Visa 189 Process in a Nutshell!

  • Step 4- following the skill assessment test, an applicant can submit Expression of Interest through SkillSelect

The SkillSelect is an online software which asks a series of questions related to your educational and work background, skills and abilities, and other relevant history.

  • Step-5 wait for the reply of your EOI

If Australia immigration department thinks that you are suitable for their country, you will receive an Invitation to Apply for the skilled Independent work visa

Please make sure to revert back within 60 days of receiving ITA

  • Step 6- wait for the DIBP decision

At this stage, you need to be highly patient as DIBP takes some time to finally decide on your visa application

  • Step 7- after getting a final call, acknowledge receipt of your visa

Hurray! You got your visa approved and now you can migrate to Australia permanently
